Anyway. Has anyone here ever Applied for any kind of funding for any of their productions. I know its out there for to help you with everything from the script stage to distribution. But how do you get at it.

Does anyone have any tips, links, addresses or any other info needed to even apply for this help.

It seems to me you need to be a Homosexual Assylum seeker with one leg to get any help in this country but maybe Im just bitter.

You want some funding for your production? Here's a way:

1) Make a no-budget movie and show it around to some local stores or TV-stations so that they can see what you can do without a budget.

2) Ask them for money to make your next movie.

I find that proposition scary. It should help if you have a decent project on the table, not what fuckin colour your arse is. No wonder England churns out so much **** - that is PC gone mad. If priority is given to ethnic minorities (over actual quality of content) then the film council want fuckin shooting. In the head. With big **** -of guns.

the assumption is that people from ethnic minorities don't get as many opportunities as anglo ( which i believe to be true) so special prizes, funding is set up for minority groups.

that's what i was referring to in my post.

no one goes out of their way to set up a fund designed especially for white, heterosexual, males. now if you're homosexual on the other hand... a few posibilities open up.
